    That’s nothing a hot burn won’t fix.

Nuke it with fire, problem solved.

  3. If you haven’t used your grill in a while you should light it up first, let it get hot, then you can scrape and oil the grates

That’ll teach you to stop using your kettle.

The charcoal ash absorbs moisture really well. It creates a perfect space for mold

Load the sns up full,.do a full heat burn, then a manual clean, when I leave mine for any time in the winter I leave the vents open full top and bottom, I fit a cover but also add moisture absorber packs, can normally go 6 weeks with no mould. I live in Lincs UK, gets fairly wet and cold in the winter, only had the issue once, this has worked since

I give my kettle a scrape and burn first time out from hibernation.

Not uncommon, just light a fire and burn it off

That happens to mine once in a while. Light er up and you’ll be good to go. I spray lighter fluid on all the mold…and poof.

Leave the lid cracked open for airflow and the mold problem goes away. Just not enough for birds to nest in there because…. Experience.
