  1. The way I ordered myself a tiramisu after watching this this morning 😅😍 (I wish I had the equipment and ingredients to make it but 🤷🏽‍♀️😂)

  2. Looks delicious and one recipe I will definitely soon make. Meanwhile, I have been making Chef Jean Pierre's 'Frozen Tiramisu' recipe for a few years now, and it too is delicious. He is on YouTube, so you can search for that recipe too, which is basically the same, but you put it in a bread pan and freeze it. When you cut a slice, it is a sight for sore eyes.

  3. Now, Erin, I had helped an elderly Italian nonna make Tiramusu on a couple of occasions, but it was long ago…one thing that lingers in my fuzzy memory is the distinct flavor of fruity Marsala wine. Somewhere; not sure where, but it was there; not overwhelming, but enough to add a note of “naughtiness”. Possibly in the cream layers? What say you, maestro?

  4. I hope your journey takes you the whole way and you get stronger. Those small towns and gas stations are challenging for proper nutrition. I hope you see FreshGround!

  5. I wonder if Mascarpone cheese should be beat, fluffed up, separately then incorporated into the whip cream; then it would combine more easily.

  6. Do you have a grain free version of the ladyfingers? I've reacted to all grain except rice and I think buckwheat now. For a long time I could eat wheat and oats also when I wasn't having a Lupus flare but haven't been able to in about 8 months. I used to make what I called a terimisu inspired trifle with pecan sandies, vanilla honey Greek yogurt, coco whip, and Ovalaltine on top. My aunt decades ago couldn't find ladyfingers near her so she just used nilla wafers! My version used dark rum with the coffee, and ameretto in the custard. Is there a better word for the white layer, I mean it's not a pudding or frosting, so I think it's a custard?

  7. Spumoni chocolate milk dipped lady fingers, pistachio inspo creamy bit, & cherries on the top.

Erin, we love watching you. My SO & I have decided you have a Bob Ross quality. You have feel-good, peaceful energy that comes through, putting the viewer at ease and boom you’re in snore town—in the best way possible! You’re not boring at all, it’s just relaxing.

  8. I make the easy filling too, but marscapone is super expensive and comes in the tiniest containers in Japan. So I pretty much cheat by using half marscapone and half cream cheese. I'm sure a chef can tell the difference, but my friends can't and they still fight over who gets the last cut. <3

  9. Erin— Let’s try limoncello! Does the top with a little bit of sugar and either lemon crystals or instant lemonade?

  10. Just found you…love your personality and your tiramisu looks amazing, which how I found you…must make an Italian dessert for a party I’m attending. I will use your recipe and techniques to make it.

  11. Oh god, just watching this I was having all kinds of ideas. I made an Apple Cider Tiramisu for a halloween party this year, soaking the ladyfingers in cider with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and allspice. Added those same spices to the mascarpone filling. Diced up some apples and macerated them and layered them in and drizzled some caramel. People were scraping the pan. Now I'm thinking of an orange raspberry tiramisu… a baklava inspired one where the ladyfingers are soaked in a thin version of the honey syrup with chopped walnuts all through… It's so flexible.

  12. Dubai-style chocolate tiramisu: With pistachio paste mixed in the mascarpone cream and chocolate shavings or kathaifi to top!

P.s. shout out to @MockingBirdJoy and @chihkeongsee4802 ! i just realized after posting that they also suggested similar ideas!
