If the recipe was for beef jerky you’re getting close!

For future reference, How to Basic is not the place for recipes.

Looks like the classic Celsius/Fahrenheit issue. Set oven to 375 is Fahrenheit not 375 Celsius. Lost so many lamb roasts that way.

Charcoal for dinner tonight!! Sounds delicious! 😋

So you’re at the “make it very Anakin Skywalker like” step?

    It happens! TRY AGAIN!

one would think the smell that would have made while cooking would have been a hint.

Did you fall asleep and leave your meat in the oven overnight? 🤔

    Post the recipe OP!

Makes me wonder if it was an Ai one.

Did the recipe mention Mount Doom? ‘Cause you may have been watching the wrong movie..

You’re supposed to make brisket, not briquette

Not one person here mentioned checking on your food. I can’t be sure that this is totally rage bait but if you are seriously looking for what you can do next time, check on your food!

Every 20 to 30 mins. The slow cooker can be good for low and slow, set it and forget it. But the oven doesn’t work like that. Always check on your food every 20-30 mins.
