Latin Social opened on North Tejon Street on Oct. 1 in downtown Colorado Springs, offering a menu infused with the flavors of the open ocean. The restaurant’s Mediterranean-inspired cuisine draws from across the region, with influences from France, Italy, Portugal, Greece and Turkey.
“At Latin Social, dinner isn’t just a meal— it’s a moment,” reads a recent post on the restaurant’s Instagram.
The concept comes from the team behind Ambli Kitchen & Bar, which operates several upscale restaurants in Denver and Colorado Springs, including Ambli Global and Ambli Kitchen & Bar. Known for blending global flavors and fine dining, the Ambli group’s menus have featured dishes such as Thai croquettes, Cajun andouille sausage and spicy seafood paella.
Latin Social takes that same adventurous spirit and applies it to a fresh culinary direction. The restaurant offers a distinct menu from its sister locations but retains Ambli’s emphasis on high-quality ingredients, presentation and global hospitality.
“Community, authenticity, integrity,” reads Ambli’s tagline. That philosophy carries through in Latin Social’s Mediterranean-inspired offerings. The menu highlights Latin flavors through a range of seafood and meat dishes that emphasize freshness and balance.
In addition to its dinner service, Latin Social will also introduce Tea Time, an afternoon dining experience featuring light bites and beverages. The relaxed service encourages guests to unwind or catch up on work in a comfortable, social atmosphere.
The menu includes shareable small plates alongside hearty entrees, encouraging communal dining. Guests can expect dishes such as lamb with chutney, shrimp ceviche and a variety of seasonal offerings designed to showcase bright, bold flavors.
With its mix of Mediterranean inspiration, Latin flair and a focus on community, Latin Social is aiming to become a new downtown destination for food lovers and social diners alike.
