Including fruits is a nice step, very healthy breakfast!

I can see the effort, nice job!

The eggs are healthy. Sadly…..The rest is pretty much pure sugar and will temporarily spike your blood sugar. Sure its very yummy but …. Well ya know 😉

Eggs w/bacon and sourdough are way healthier. Oranges are delicious but pure sugar. Real sourdough has a very low glycemic index compared to white bread. Don’t get me wrong. If you hadn’t emphasized “healthy” I wouldn’t have even said anything. There is a huge difference between healthy and yummy 😂

Please don’t listen to the anti-fruit people. Yes there’s sugar in fruit. That’s ok, if you’re going to get it from any source it’s from that. This is healthy.
No one is getting fat from eating fruit. The skinniest guy I know mostly eats fruit.

There are some comments fear mongering sugar. Please ignore this. This is a healthier breakfast in general. Some little tips. Cook the eggs in healthy fats(rich in omega 3/6 fatty acids) like olive or avocado oil. If the bread is not whole grain opt for a whole grain bread for more fiber. Fruit is never a bad choice as it contains fiber and vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Keep up the good work!
Edit: I share the same sentiment as @apathetic_batman on fruit.

The comments calling this “very healthy” are wrong. Some much healthier things to eat for breakfast:
Oatmeal with fruit and honey
Avocado toast on whole grain toast with tomatoes, balsamic and green goddess dressing
Simple granola and plain yogurt
Red quinoa, goat milk, honey, and berries
Eggs. Just a little pepper and a tiny pinch of salt cooked with avocado oil or vegetable oil
Tomato slices instead of potatoes go great with any omelet is a great substitute. I actually prefer some sliced tomato over breakfast potatoes as a side any day.

Why does it give me major anxiety to see the jelly not spread to the edges. I hate it 😭

It is really good just with the fruit and jam it might get to be a lot of sugar and sugar really keeps you fat. Fruit is totally healthy and you should eat it but just because you’re also having jam, and then I’m assuming you’re having sugar in coffee and maybe other areas? Even if your only goal is to lose fat, that’s going to really prolong the process because sugar really does that. So does a surplus of calories even from healthy foods, but your portion does not look too big.
People technically do not need sugar. It in itself does nothing for us. But you can download MyFitnessPal and you can you discover how many calories you need a day to lose a certain about of pounds per week but then you can also look at the [macro](https://www.cedars-sinai.org/stories-and-insights/expert-advice/what-are-macronutrients#:~:text=%22Macros%22%20is%20short%20for%20macronutrients%2C%20a%20term,a%20balance%20of%20carbs%2C%20fat%20and%20protein.%22) percentage indicator in your food diary where you log in food/meals and they recently-ish added a sugar threshold. I think it’s because certain foods naturally contain sugar and you still don’t want to go over that limit, even in fruit. Plus, it’s still okay to eat sugar. You don’t need to rob yourself of it entirely in order to be perfectly healthy, and that limit in the calculator is a good indicator in order to not go over that limit.

While I have no clue as to how you ate before
Healthy means a lot of things to a lot of people!
The question is: did this sustain you, and did you feel like you had enough energy until your next snack/meal?
I know people hate tracking but if you get to learn your personal energy needs, you can then turn those into learning how you like to or need to eat (how much protein your body needs, carbs, fats, and sort of by extension, fibre).
So, fist of all, congrats on deciding to put a focus on your dietary/nutritional requirements and wants.
Second… everyone will tell you you are doing it wrong
Third… you can constantly adapt and change your eating habits
Fourth…. Determine your goals for your new nutritional journey and see if you have an EAP program though work for building nutrition plans, getting referred to a dietitian (I actually don’t know if this is possible for justvgeneral outlook info), and learning about each food/food group.
5th… still go out to eat or eat that cookie/sweet! While you want to prioritize bringing the next nutrition to your body, if the odd takeout or restaurant meal is now the exception, likely it won’t hav the same affect it did before!

Have you looked into a Ketogenic diet? I would call it more of a lifestyle than a diet, but it has really helped a lot of people I know not only lose weight, but decrease inflammation.
