The can, the contents, the meal

I don't think I've ever met a José Gourmet tin I didn't like, but this blew me away. It's flavoured with just olive oil & lemon: simple and delicious. The texture was tender but not at all mushy. I'll definitely be stocking up on some of these!

The sandwich (bottom-up) is ciabatta bread with avocado, quick pickled shallot, the trout, flat-leaf parsley, bird's eye chillies and some of the lemony olive oil from the tin. Plenty of salt and pepper. Simple(ish) and SUPER delicious!

P.s. that's not hair on the plate, it's just a little old and scratched up. Note to self, pick a more attractive plate if you're going to take a picture…
