Recipe:

– 3 Slices Bread
– 4 Slices Mozzarella/Swiss
– 4 to 6 oz Deli Ham
– 1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
– 1 Tbsp Oil
– 2 Tbsp Honey [Divided] (15-30g)

Coating
– 2 Eggs
– 1.5 Cups Panko (125g)
– Optional Crushed Tortilla Chips

1. Assemble sandwich in order of honey, cheese, ham, bread, ham, cheese, honey
2. Add eggs to a shallow dish and whisk together
3. Add panko and crushed tortilla chips to a separate shallow dish
4. Dip your sandwich into the eggs, making sure to coat well
5. Then coat in your panko mixture, making sure to press down well and to cover the sides
6. Add butter and oil to a pan over medium low heat
7. Once melted add your sandwich and let cook for 2-3 minutes before flipping for another 2-3 minutes.
8. Splash some water in the pan and cover with a lid and let cook for 5-8 minutes on low heat to let the cheese melt.
9. Remove the lid and let the sides crisp up for another 1-2 minutes each side, then enjoy 🙂
