Poor man’s apple pie: Last minute snack before bed
BUTTER , APPLES, CINNAMON, FRY PAN. ( ALL OF THIS CAN BE ADJUSTED TO YOUR TASTE) cook until they get soft and enjoy. You don't have to worry about the bad crust or all the hidden sugars in the syrups.

I forgot to add: no sugar. It’s in the apples naturally.

I love the smell of this. I wish I could find an accurate candle.

I love making this.
If you want to treat yourself, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
If you want to make it super healthy, if you’re using a nonstick pan, you dont even need the butter. Just keep adding water until it reaches the consistency you want. The longer you cook it, the more natural sugars that you mentioned leach out and create a cinnamon sugar syrup.

These are really good mixed with oatmeal.

i just buy apple pie filling and heat it in the microwave and add whipped cream and cinnamon. It is not as cheap as chopping your own apples but it is so convenient.

I make overnight oats (steel cut of course) pop in the microwave for a min, top with vanilla yogurt, chopped apples, honey and cinnimon. I am addicted.
