Amazing service, maxime was wonderful explaining the wine pairings. I try and go every time im in the city. Seriously generous pours with the pairing too, ngl got kinda drunk. Per se would never!! The amuse bouche were absolutely stellar, especially the oyster. Ofc the famous tuna was great but the salmon was also amazing (well it all was).
Also went to Benoit for lunch (good but not groundbreaking and certainly expensive – last pic is their quenelle- definitely recommend that) and the pâté en croute.
Hit 53 too. Gorgeous inside, delicious food.

Actually, if you follow this sub, it misses somewhat regularly, and I’m a fan of Eric Ripert
some day I’ll get there. Not as though I am not back in NYC multiple times a year
I liked Le B as well but wished the egg isn’t an add on. TBH for tasting menus where you’re running 300+ to start, it feels odd to nickel and dime for another $20 here and there.
As a non seafood person I really have wondered about coming here and seeing if it can convert me or if I should just go for the vegetarian menu while my SO gets the regular, but man does it all look cool!!
I have been twice and it has been a hit twice except oddly for the bread they offer. They tasted a bit dry/stale both times
Love this place. Never had a bad meal there
