I gave a second effort to a Meat Church recipe I saw when I was scrolling YouTube a few months back.

I improved on try number one by smoking some ears of corn instead of using canned corn. I found the liquid content to be a little low this time so I added about a cup and a half of water while the bird was finishing.

Family tested and neighbor approved!

The temp on the grill was a little low while the chicken was on , I tried a snake this time instead of a basket since I knew I was going to add the pot back on the grill later. Next time I think I'll do the basket for the chicken and just make a snake while the chicken is resting to better control the temp at each stage.

I like the move of smoking the corn. Grilling corn on the cob would work too I bet, to get some char on the kernels. Either way would be a massive improvement over using corn from a can.

Looks good! I might have to give this a try this winter. Meat Church recipes are usually pretty good.

Looks great. Do you need to rotate the chicken while cooking it with the snake method?
