I decided to make a Russian Honey Cake for my husband's birthday, and it was a fun experience! I have only made some basic homemade cakes while mainly baking boxed cakes so this was my first real challenge. And it was worth it! There is an unfortunate candle wax drip on the right side that I forgot to scoop off before taking a photo because I was too excited. But the best part was that my hubby enjoyed it and already requested it for next year's birthday too.
