What a beautiful vineyard, loved the wine too.

One of the more epic views in all the places I’ve been. I joined about 10 years ago and, while many of their reds attempt to be too bold (or at least deeply require red meat to make them “work”), their pinot and soul of a lion are standouts.

I visited Daou twenty years ago on my first trip to Paso. It certainly came across as the most beautiful of any place I went. I remember not being overy impressed with the wines at the time, but subsequent tastings have changed my mind. They’ve improved substantially.

  3. Visited last year, it is a magnificent property. Somehow they manage to contain the Disneyfication, but ity is touristy. Best prices for Soul of a Lion and special bottlings like Cuvee Lizzy and Mayote, plus Patrimony Library.

overpriced shit. Plus the brothers are well known in the area for being creepy with the underage CalPoly girls they invite to “private tastings”.

It’s a great spot. Even more beautiful in good weather.

Went there last year, very beautiful property.

  8. Don’t let the haters get you down. It’s a beautiful Vineyard and their higher end Cabs, including Soul of a Lion and Patrimony, are fantastic.
