    Looks like your Weber is counter sunk? What clips or brackets did you use if any?

    Not seeing many angles but hope you have an air gap with some metal brackets… looks like you could have good fire hazard. Could be an easy fix, but if that grill is in contact with the wood at all that’s a bad idea because the base of the kettle will get hot enough to ignite it, especially when the wood gets old and dry. Just a suggestion from a carpenter with a Weber👍
