Still getting the hang of photographing my meat to show it off on a subreddit. May not have achieved a great sear due to the heat but extremely satisfied with the result for this sirloin! Thank you to the community for all the feedback on the last post.

This was one thing I was wondering from your first post, > What cut of meat? SIRLOIN! Sirloin is a great LEAN cut of meat. That means not a lot of fat > not a lot greasing your grates naturally during grill! Also, I have dried out a sirloin once or twice when grilling, but there are a couple of things I like to enhance my grilled sirloin (I’m sure to catch some flack). I like to marinate Sirloin in a mixture of whatever seasoning you prefer & olive/avocado oil. Some of my best experiences have been marinating even for 30-60min. Something like:
    1. Trim up the sirloin/cut to your liking, rinse it, pat dry
    2. Mix up the seasoning and oil (just enough to coat)
    3. Pop that in a bowl in the fridge for 30-60min or longer, 4. Take out about 30-60min before you want to grill to bring the steaks to room temp
    5. Be sure to preheat that grill, some say you must clean heavily…. That’s what the fire is for right? Right?!?! I like to use a wire brush, an onion, and oil to condition the grates.
    6. Once the grill is hot, start grilling to your temperature!
The oil from the marinade helps keep the lean sirloin from sticking and the marinade helps enhance all your favorite flavors!
BTW, this steak looks pretty good! Have fun and be safe!

It’s all about getting the right angle when photographing your meat. If you’re a bit portly, I recommend sucking in and holding your breath.

Needs some crisp on the outside but I’d still eat the whole thing

    Yummm

Just needs a hotter grill and posted before for a harder seat

    Practice practice

What time are we doing this again for dinner hehehe

Heat heat heat. Make sure the grill is nice and hot when you slap that meat on. The meat will stick if the meat heats with the metal. Overall not bad! Keep grilling!
