    Kinda surprised by the lack of sear after going directly over the coals like that. I’ll also never understand why people try to flex not having used a piece of kitchen equipment. “I don’t like to be precise” ok cool I guess?

    Comment about the no thermometer thing: I didn’t have one since I’m at a friends house, I was proud (more lucky) that I cooked it decently without one. Don’t mean to sound pretentious.
