I have negative cooking skills but trying to eat healthy means I am spending a lot of money on overpriced food. Any advice is very welcome!!

Did you just eat a bag of carrots? Lol thats great! I wish I could but carrots are “meh” for me. I can mostly only have them shredded in a salad or roasted.

Buy some baking potatoes. Put some fork holes in it. Chuck in microwave for 5 minutes if fluffy eat and enjoy jacket potatoe. If not longer time

You can buy pre made 80p salad bags to eat alongside everything don’t count those calories

Cut your own vegetables and fruit to save a fortune. If you can, try learning to cook one lean protein.

  7. just some more ideas for ya:

    baked potatoes (can microwave)

    wraps

“bites” — egg or oat. very customizable and you really just dump all the ingredients in to a cupcake pan and call it a day

yogurt “chips” or “bark” — put some yogurt on anything flat and freezer safe, either in one big form or in little smaller circles like a chip. add any toppings like fruit nuts or drizzles of chocolate before freezing.

“zoodles” aka spiralizing vegetables. people do it with your carrots all the time! zucchini seems to be the most popular

  8. Cooking isn’t a skill, but more of a necessity. What part do you struggle with exactly?

An easy cheap thing to do is to buy frozen vegetables (I prefer broccoli and cauliflower florets) and air fry them. You basically are just dumping stuff from a bag into something, and pushing buttons.

I must know, did you eat all of those carrots? Or we talking just one or two?
