This was my first time making a loaf of brioche! I did drop the loaf on it's head while trying to remove it from the pan but the damage was only cosmetic lol.

I made French toast with it, soaking slices of brioche in a vanilla-infused crème anglaise — served with maple syrup, blueberry compote, and a maple cream cheese spread. It was delicious!

I wasn’t hungry until I saw this. the way that cream is melting into the warm brioche is absolute food art

I would reduce the cooking time next time. The longer you cook it the dryer the inside becomes. I only bake my breads until golden brown.

    That looks absolutely sinful!

Have you ever tried bostock? It’s my favorite thing to do with day old brioche- soak slices in orange blossom water infused simple syrup, spread a thin layer of marmalade, then top with frangipane and sliced almonds. Bake until the frangipane browns and the bottom of the bread gets nice and crispy.

I made some recently, but with kirsch infused syrup, cherry-lime preserves, and pistachio frangipane. So good.
