Calgary restaurant known for its Mediterranean cuisine has just opened a new location

A popular Calgary Shawarma spot has just opened a new outpost in a prime location.

Shawarma Palace, a family-owned joint specializing in Mediterranean flavours, has just opened its doors on Calgary’s 17th Avenue SW.

The spot aims to offer its own unique take on traditional Shawarma dishes, using its own mix of spices and recipes and fresh ingredients.

From its new outpost, Shawarma Palace will be offering plenty of favourites such as wraps, loaded with chicken, beef donair, lamb or a mixture of all, as well as stacked platters.

There are also plenty of vegetarian-friendly dishes such as grape leaves, falafel wraps, Greek salads and more.

Since opening its first location in 2009, Shawarma Palace has expanded to several outposts across Calgary as well as surrounding areas, including Airdrie and Cochrane.
