Hi everyone! I've been making pizza for almost seven months now. At first, they looked awful, of course, but now every pizza looks like the one in this picture. What do you think? What could I improve? I rarely manage to get a leopard print on the crust (that's why you can't see it here). I'm from Germany and I love Italian culture. I'm always happy to hear your tips and opinions.

Thank you!

It doesn’t really look like a neapolitan pizza.

Mostly the cornicione is completely missing, but also the mixed meat toppings are an american pizza characteristic.

I think your dough needs more hydration, I would suggest Vitop Iacopelli’s youtube channel for authentic pizza dough tutorials in english:

    Soft and crunchy!

C’est pas un pizza napolitaine ca jpe peux l’assurer !
La pâte a l’air de manquer de cuisson.
Après elle doit être tres bonne félicitation a toi et bon appétit

Neapolitan? In which universe this is a Neapolitan pizza?😅

It’s hard to give some feedback if we dont know anything about the dough and the making of it.
What flour do you use and what amount of water etc.
How long do you let the dough rise and so on

At first sight it don’t have the traditional looks of a pizza napolitana, mostly because of the cornicione and maybe a little bit dry. Add some more water to the dough?

I’m sure it’s taste delicious though. Just trying to answer the question.

    Good luck! 🍕👍🏻

I’m not an Italian but I’ve been to Naples three times and that is not a Neapolitan pizza. It can pass as a frozen box pizza type in America but definitely not Neapolitan.

It doesn’t look Neapolitan at all; nonetheless, it looks really good, more in the Roman/Tuscan style (which I personally prefer to the neapolitan fluffy one).
    Care to share the recipe?

Is everyone in this thread a troll or trollbot? Weird.
