  1. I’ve been wanting to try this dish forever at this point, so I finally did it and wow!! It was unbelievably good!!

I used [this recipe from Just One Cookbook](https://www.justonecookbook.com/hamburger-steak-hambagu/) (her website is my bible), and it came out perfectly. The patties were nice and flavorful, the sauce was ultra savory, it wasn’t overly difficult or complicated, I would make this again for sure. I am now wondering if I could get away with stuffing them with some cheese next time, I bet that would be awesome 😛

  2. Looks great! I’ve loved this dish ever since I first ate it in the train car restaurant on an old Korean train. I make batches of the meat mix and sauce ahead of time and freeze them separately (with the meat uncooked and unshaped) in vacuum bags for easy future meals. Coincidentally just pulled some out of the freezer like 15 minutes ago to enjoy tomorrow!

Looks delicious! I’ve used that same recipe in the past for making hambagu, it’s great indeed.
