Canned corned beef, canned sauerkraut, Velveeta cheese sauce, 1000 Islands dressing, on Canadian Betty bread.
Pan fried the beef and then heated up the sauerkraut.
The Velveeta, dressing, and sauerkraut all expired years ago, the beef expires in a couple months, and the Betty bread is about 3 or 4 weeks old.
Dressing was opened in September and been sitting on the kitchen counter the whole time.
Have ingredients left to do same tomorrow.
Subzero outside my cabin but its sunny, finally, so im getting the batteries charged up. Had to go up the ladder at first light to clean the solar panels off with an old broom, were covered in snow from the storm the last 2 days.
Just sitting around wasting time on reddit, sketching, or reading, got nothing else going on.

Betty Bread lasts well past the best before…at least for signs of mold. It’s crazy how far past you can go with it. Stays soft, too. Must be chock full of delicious preservatives or something, but I don’t care. It’s good bread for store bought.

That dressing needs to be refrigerated once opened. It’s not that it’s past its expiration date, it is that you could get food poisoning from having left an opened perishable that requires refrigeration once opened on the counter for 3-4 months. Please at least acknowledge that this isn’t something safe for others to attempt.
Cook the cb with a good sprinkle of caraway seeds, and honestly, this would be good.

Do you see a major difference in solar panel output with snow on them? I saw a study from Canada that showed a <5% difference with and without cleaning.
