I noticed this on my watch through at the end of December. In my head cannon and not to forgive what is likely a lazy prop but aren’t they in a military cordoned off zone? I was thinking it’s probably something in this well-to-do family’s cellar and they are bringing it up because that’s what they have.
An old boss of mine who was a Bordeaux head in the 60-80s used to have cases of futures in Montana of all places. Definitely not cheap but he made it seem like buying cases of BDX was a slightly more economical way to get it to more rural locales back then. Still doesn’t really excuse a Tuesday night 1st Growth but if that’s all you got on your own little island… Lmk if I’m wrong about this.
