Asta La Pasta at 2A Dovecothall Street in Barrhead is holding its soft launch on January 22 and its official opening on January 23.

The soft launch will be attended by a limited number of people who have been randomly selected to come along after filling out a form via the restaurant’s social media page.
In an online post those behind the venture said: “We’re thrilled to announce the opening of Asta La Pasta your new Italian restaurant and we’re now taking bookings.
“Before the big day, we’re hosting an exclusive soft launch and inviting a limited number of guests to join us for a sneak preview of our food, atmosphere, and hospitality.”

The new eatery’s menu boasts a selection of pasta options including rigatoni with vodka sauce and stracciatella, and tagliatelle with beef ragu and parmesan.
A number of pizzas are also part of its offering including one featuring italian sausage, nduja and mascarpone, and another featuring roasted pineapple, prosciutto crudo and chilli honey.
