Probably my favorite restaurant in LA. Best mapo tofu

One of my favorite spots ever. Toothpick lamb 5ever

Looks so sick. I wouldn’t be getting shit done after this though.

  5. Sorry bud, no mapo tofu you made a small misstep

This place is so good but I stopped going because they were rude even by SGV standards. Last time I went on a busy evening they were seating favorite customers first from an auxiliary waitlist the host had on his phone. Haven’t been back after that 2 hour wait.

The chicken in the first pic is my favorite but the toothpick lamb is so good

Damn prices since Covid really went up. Suuuucks.

  10. If you ever find yourself on the other side of town, pop by Ruiji. You won’t be disappointed.

The Chengdu Taste cabbage slaps so much harder than it should. But you’re missing out without the sour and spicy potato, too

Hell yeah. Great spot…this makes me want to plan a return visit

  13. One of my fave restaurants for spicy food… but even when i order extra spicy is not that spicy lol

One of the best restaurants in all of LA. I’m so jealous of the meal you just had!

If you haven’t had their mapo tofu it’s outstanding, same goes for the boiled fish with green peppercorn 🤌

The cucumber salad, dan dan noodles, and mapo tofu are my go to’s here. Love Chengdu Taste.

Okay you’ve all convinced me to go. However, as a feeble white man with a just-okay tolerance for spice, is the toothpick lamb and mapo tofu really that spicy?

The chicken dish in the first photo is one of my favorites. They do it right there.

The string beans looks really good. Everything else looks really greasy.

Haven’t had my face numbed by the cold mung bean noodles in a while
