    Changes I made:

    -Skip the nuts in the cake
    -add 1/2tsp ginger

    -make browned butter for the frosting
    -Brown more butter than the recipe calls for and weigh out the 113 grams after.
    -Use 33% more cream cheese so the tangyness stands up to the nutty brown butter
    -Start with 200g of confectioners sugar not 240
    -Top frosted cake with toasted crushed walnuts for texture and importantly flavour balance
