I was given a bunch of normal canning jars, but these two little guys were mixed in. Are they suitable canning jars? Or better used for something else?

    They seem to be an old cleaned out jar from commercially canned goods and if that’s the case, then they would not be for canning.

    I’ll be honest, these reminds me of baby food jars for some reason. Though there’s always the chance these are some niche brand of canning jars, I suppose.

    Do not can these jars. Only use jars that are designed for it.

    I don’t use these types of jars, but when I was a kid, my mom used them for freezer jam.
