Owner gets his fish from Japan, it’s quite a treat for such a decent price! How much do you typically spend on sushi?

Wow! Great price and quality actually! Even better considering it’s the Midwest.

That’s a crazy price for this amount. Super awesome!

That’s not a bad price at all. You’re averaging like $4.40 per piece.
That plate and a roll is plenty of food and would have me all set for the night.

Sounds about right given the quality. I usually get a “chef’s selection” and it typically runs between $35-$60. But, the variety doesn’t usually look like this so I say well done.

What’s in the blue dish- is that a miso soup or a raw clam/oyster?

Also- just curious if they gave you a salad/ soup (my local place does that with their sushi plate special.

That looks really good and a great value for the price. You can tell the chef spent a lot of time making the plate look really appealing, too.

I’d fuck with it. It certainly wouldn’t be $66 in my market.

This is probably around $80+ where I live. Quality and cuts are legit and great price too!

The place I’m going to tonight is $125 for their nigiri tasting. That’s for 10 pieces.
