He’s stupid. The bubble isn’t useless though. What they charge for it is stupid. But anyone who likes cocktails understands using garnishes to accent flavors. It’s no different from squeezing an orange peel on the side of the glass to get the oils to impart a light bit of scent which can lightly change flavor profiles. Scent is just as important as taste when it comes to flavor.
Idk, this just doesn’t strike me as that stupid except for what he tried to do. What happened to the morons dancing and searing a 1000 dollar steak before it even hits the grill so you have one extra burnt part?
