    Looks yummy! My dad taught me to make gumbo and it’s one of my staples and I haven’t made it for a year so that’s a good reminder. 😁

    Tip about gumbo I didn’t learn until adulthood, this is from Emeril Lagasse. The darker you make roux the more flavor it imparts, but the blonder roux gives more thickening power.
