As a french, I have to be that spelling nazi… it is bœuf 🙁 it’s like me saying look I got a nice piece of tomakawak!

But I hope you loved it, it looks delicious!

That’s some good looking Shia LaBeouf

  3. Nothing has rendered out on this and the cook is uneven. If you want to finish at this high of a heat you need to cook it before or after at a lower heat, hopefully much lower. No offense it’s a nice piece of beef and you seared it well but it’s too thick of a steak for how you prepared it.

I respect the meat enough to let it rest before touching it again

I’d eat it, but I would’ve cooked it at a lower temp for longer, then high temp and add some butter at the end to sear it a bit. I need a charcoal barbecue.

My guy thought he was gonna get way better comments than he is

Looks delicious, but I really need to know about those potatoes. I am generally not a big fan of spuds, but those look amazing!

Gray band. Learn how to cook a steak. There are plenty of videos on YouTube… waste of quality beef smh

Did you do a reverse sear or just straight over the flames? Also, massive respect for those crispy potatoes, those look like the perfect side.

When your wallet is not justified by your skill set.
Have some respect for the beef. Learn better.

Just a suggestion since no one has made it yet. Look up what a “reverse sear” is if you don’t already know. That’s how you should be cooking a thick tomahawk (unless you really like it basically raw, then to each their own).

If that’s a particularly nice cut, that’s my ideal way to serve it.

I’ve seen cows hurt worse than that get well, it’s still mooin’ 😎
