PS yes I know it’s tahini and not tajin, I’m very tired.

Recipe:

1 can chickpeas (or garbanzo beans) – rinsed
3-4 tbsp lemon juice (adjust to your taste)
1/2 cup tahini
2-3 cloves garlic
3-4 tbsp cold water to thin while blending

Top with Smoked paprika/chilli flake/olives, whatever your heart desires.

NOTE: Some people like olive oil in their hummis, some people like it on top, some people don’t want it at all. IF YOU WANT IT IN YOUR HUMMIS wait until the very end and blend it in on LOW very briefly. EVOO turns gets very bitter and gross if blended at high speeds due to chemistry I won’t explain here lol.

  1. if you make it from dried chickpeas it's gonna be so much better.
    also if you mix the tahini and lemon juice first you'll get a paste that traps a lot of air. if you then mix it together with the blended chickpeas it'll be a lot fluffier
