Is ham salad really that weird? I liked it the few times I’ve had it, even made it myself a couple of times. No grocery store delis seem to make it around here though, and I’d love the convenience.

I’ve had a bit of devils lettuce – took me way too long to realize the part in the middle was the divide, and not a weird secret 1/3rd stuffed with chipped ham only

Good for you – I love ham salad. A couple of times a year, I make a ham, and freeze portions for weeknight meals. Leftovers go into a food processor with onion, celery, pickles, mustard and mayo for ham salad.
My kids won’t eat it – more for me. Prefer on rye toast.

My Midwest boyfriend’s grandpa makes the best ham salad. I had never heard of it until I met my bf. Every time we visit his grandparents, his grandpa makes it for us. So so good.
