Putting together my list for this year. I live in St Louis, MO, zone 6b/7a. The list is all the seeds I currently have, highlighted the ones I’m leaning toward.

I some of these are for my personal garden (probably can fit 7 plants). There are a lot of cherries/cocktail size because I’m growing some of them for my kids school garden, the kids love garden snacking. Probably room for 12-15 plants.

Has anyone had experience with any of these (good or bad) in a climate similar to where I’m at? Many of these are new to me. For context, cherokee purple and taiga don’t do great for me, I always only get a couple and they split/rot before I get to eat them.

Ay, you’re growing a Norfolk. Is it Althea or one of the bigger varieties?

I grew an Althea last year and got amazing production in zone 6a.

New England zone 6a. Lately, we have had wet Springs, really hot Junes and really dry Julys. Cherokee Purple I don’t get many of either. I won’t be growing it this year.

I grew Bananas Noire (yes, bananas not ananas) last year and they were great! Fast growing very productive plant with delicious fruits over a long period. Fruits about 2” across if I recall correctly. Caged, the plant gets large without taking up a lot of space. I started a couple of clones from near the bottom of the plant, for more plants in another garden.

GGWT has been a top fave for me for several years but if I could only have one between it and Choc Stripes I’d go with Choc Stripes. It is routinely more productive for me and no less delicious, to my tastes. Both produce large slicers but I might give choc Stripes the edge there as well.

Tasmanian Chocolate is on my ”always grow” list. Very productive compact early producing dwarf with large, flavourful fruits.

Lucid gem I like, too. Productive, with sweet fruits.

It looks like you’re going to have a nice grow list. Happy growing! 🍅

That is a beautiful list, my friend.

I thought mine was crazy with 22 tomatoes 😂😂🥸

I really wanna try to hybridize this year!
