Chicken marinade (for 4 bone-in chicken thighs):
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp oregano
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp lemon juice
Olive oil
The creamy orzo (for 1 cup orzo):
1 small onion
30 g butter
1 cup chicken stock or warm water
1 cup cream
1/2 cup milk
Parsley
1 tbsp garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Spicy sauce, if you want a kick
Instructions:
Mix all the marinade ingredients and coat the chicken thighs well. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the chicken on both sides until nicely golden. Transfer the chicken to the air fryer and cook for 22 minutes at 200Β°C (392Β°F).
In the same pan, add the onion with half of the butter and sautΓ© for 1 minute. Add the orzo and pour in the chicken stock (or warm water), scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze. Cover and let it cook for about 8 minutes. Add the cream, milk, parsley, garlic, salt, black pepper, and spicy sauce if using. Let it simmer for 2 minutes, then serve with the chicken. Enjoy π€
