Got ’em:

Note for the Broncos and their fans: I know it has been an emotional 24 hours. I feel for Bo and the team, and I’m sending prayers for a strong recovery.

A positive note going into the game versus the Patriots is that they struggle against backup QBs in championship-type games.

Heyo!

Nick Foles threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns in Super Bowl 52, which the Eagles won by a final score of 41-33. Tom Brady threw for a lot of yards and a lot of touchdowns but dropped a pass and then was strip sacked by Brandon Graham in the fourth quarter.

AFC Championship Game: Surely it’s gotta be the Broncos, right? They won it all with Peyton Manning back in 2015 but went nine seasons afterward without a playoff win. Sean Payton is an asshat, but there’s nobody else on that team to really root against. They’ve got good fans, and while the Jarrett Stidham Super Bowl storyline wouldn’t exactly be sexy, it would make for a similar 2018 Eagles underdog type of thing.

The Patriots, on the other hand, deserve nothing but the worst. They haven’t sucked long enough to warrant being good again. We had to watch them play in nine Super Bowls between 2000 and 2019 and then they went on a six-year run in which they won zero playoff games, but it should have been 16 years, or 60. Nobody wants to see the Patriots in the Super Bowl again. Doesn’t matter if Brady and Belichick aren’t there anymore. The Pats and their fans deserve only two things – jack and shit.
