The iconic Johnny Scoops, a longtime veteran-owned ice cream shop in Wildwood, is moving this spring to a new location.
The shop, which features coffee, ice cream, milk shakes, waffles, root beer floats, plans to relocate from at 3014 Boardwalk to a larger space at the corner of Pacific and Maple avenues in Wildwood.
The move will happen in time for the summer of 2026 season, according to a social media post by business owner Michael Terzaghi.
The new 3,000-square-foot space will maintain the classic black-and-red color scheme associated with the Johnny Scoops logo, while incorporating some new design elements.
The relocated shop will offer both dine-in and takeout options and plans to add several new menu items while continuing to serve its signature ice cream treats.
Johnny Scoops, on the boardwalk between Glenwood and Maple avenues in Wildwood, is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
