Mickey Rourke was recently spotted out for dinner in Los Angeles despite facing ongoing financial and housing troubles behind the scenes.
The Wrestler star, 73, was photographed dining at the Italian restaurant Little Door in West Hollywood in December, per the Daily Mail, and the outing came just weeks before details about his alleged eviction and unpaid rent became public.
Rourke was seen wearing a cream colored jacket with a matching cowboy hat and shoes as he walked and talked with a friend.

At the time of the sighting, Rourke was already facing eviction proceedings tied to nearly $60,000 in alleged unpaid rent, according to court filings obtained by the outlet. The Daily Mail reported that the records showed the actor was served with a three-day notice on December 18 demanding payment and that the complaint stated that Rourke failed to comply, which placed him at risk of being evicted from the property.
As the National Enquirer previously reported, the situation escalated earlier this month when a GoFundMe was launched to help cover the alleged back rent. The fundraiser quickly raised more than $100,000 before being taken down.
Rourke later denied authorizing the campaign and publicly rejected the money, calling the situation “embarrassing” and urging donors to request refunds.

“If I needed money, I wouldn’t ask for no f**king charity. I’d rather stick a gun up my a** and pull the trigger,” he said in a video shared via Instagram. “I wouldn’t know what a GoFundMe foundation is in a million years. My life is very simple, I wouldn’t go to outside sources like that.”
A GoFundMe spokesperson eventually confirmed to TMZ the campaign was deleted and all donations were refunded.
