I was going for medium rare. Obviously that didn’t happen. It’s not awful though
Great_Guidance_8448
Ooof… Overcooked AND no sear. Ouch.
pwningnoobslolz
Did you boil your steak?
jontseng
lol that’s clearly 12-hour pulled pork. You aren’t fooling us that easily! :-p
hochamp69
To shreds, you say?
PoPJaY
Yeah buddy, that thing is…Rough. no sear, looks *tough* I don’t even wanna touch whats up with the garlic. Did you season it? I dont want to condone steak sauce but I hope you drowned it in sauce.
But we all do things for the first time and we get better as we go. Save this for a year from now when you make a banger.

An animal died for this.

Lemme be honest…. what the heck is this?

Speaking of torn to shreds, it looks like a chew toy that a dog tore to shreds.

Milk steak!
grumpvet87
watch some Guga videos on how to get a good sear. It will make your steak taste (and look) better
Not gonna lie, I’ve actually seen many worse steaks. Definitely terrible but hardly abhorrent.
Awkward-Chipmunk678
It was already dead!!!

Stick around this sub – will be brutal at times but u will learn a lot.

Ooo, bit too done
dirtymikeesq
You’ve done very badly here. But ots your 1st time you can only get better. Look online for a few more tips next time. 😁
Big_P4U
There’s a little pink to more pink I see…so it’s not completely ruined.
Golden_Locket5932
Pretty bad considering the standard this sub sets, but actually not TERRIBLE considering it’s your first time. Just needs more seasoning, less time on the heat, and HIGHER heat.
TheseAintMyPants2
Hopefully you’re as tough as that steak is, to take the criticism you’re gonna get
jjonez18
Needs some gravy and I’d smash
Ill-Abalone8610
Man we all start somewhere. Good effort.
How did you cook it? Was it really wet when you put it in the pan?
At least it looks like a cheap cut of meat. Is that minute steak?
Amo-24
Looks like an after smokers lung

1. Salt and pepper. 2. Wrap in foil. 3. Place foil in ziplock bag. 4. Add to dishwasher. Be sure to set for heated dry. 5. Remove at the end of the cycle and allow to rest for 45 minutes. 6. Enjoy!

Did you save the boiled water to make gravy?
Wofust
We all gotta learn somehow
Mindless_Highlight_2
Hey at least it’s edible, gotta give OP *some* credit

Next time make sure the entire steak is fully submerged looks like one side was sticking out the water you boiled it in
