Preeti Mistry, the James Beard Award-winning executive chef of Silver Oak Cellars, will host a limited series of dumpling-making classes at the winery’s Oakville location.
Offered monthly from May through September, the two-hour workshop provides hands-on instruction in crafting seasonal dumplings, which will be paired with Silver Oak’s signature Cabernet Sauvignon.

A former “Top Chef” contestant and co-owner of Oakland’s (now closed) Juhu Beach Club, Mistry has gained national acclaim for their bold, globally inspired cuisine. Last year, they won a James Beard Award for their podcast “Loading Dock Talks with Chef Preeti Mistry” in the Audio Programming category for their episode with New York chef Telly Justice.
Priced at $195 per person, the dumpling classes are offered through Airbnb Experiences from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. May 17, June 14, July 12, Aug. 16 and Sept. 13.
