Oh this looks delicious 😋 I made a ham & cheese quiche last week. Hubby and I really enjoy this kind of meal. I noticed you didn't pre bake your crust " thank you " I didn't bake mine either . I found most internet recipes say pre bake 😕 mine turned out wonderful so glad to see u didn't bake either. What amounts of spinach & mushroom would you use suggest if we were not using any meat ?
I love quiche. It’s such an easy and delicious dish. It’s also a good way to use up bits of leftover ingredients that aren’t enough to be the main item in a meal on their own. I have a bowl that is the right size to fill my pie pan. I put my meat, cheeses, and vegetables in that bowl. When the bowl is full I dump it into the pie pan then reuse it to mix my eggs.
I definitely have to make this
Thank you for sharing. I've always wanted to make it but I've always been scared to do it. But now I'm not scared.you made it look like l can do it.THANK YOU SO MUCH HUGS.
It would be really good if you added chopped green onion
I’ve always used Julia Childs ratio (3 eggs + enough milk to = 1.5 cups) and use a standard pie crust. I’ve often wanted to make a deep dish quiche for a heartier filling and your recipe looks perfect for this. I really like how it puffed up and was packed with the ham and cheese. I have all the ingredients so I’m going to go make this. Thank you for sharing your recipe! 😊
That looks so delicious! ❤
We used to make quiche often on weekends, now that we’re retired every day is a weekend, lol. I’m needing more quiche in my life right now!
My favorite ones have vegetables in them, like asparagus and spinach, but any ingredients taste great baked up in a pie crust!
♥️👍🤓🙏
Thanks for the tips! I need to find your pie crust recipe. I'm sure it is better for us.
This variation looks delicious! I am fortunate enough to live near a Harris Teeter and they have a shredded Swiss and Gruyere package that I use for my quiche. I think that next time I will use cheddar for a delicious change. Thank you MK!!
Does the pie crust need to thaw first?
I can't wait to try your recipe. Thanks for sharing.
This looks SO GOOD!!
I’m not a fan of traditional quiche….I actually prefer a Crustless quiche… but I’m guessing this filling would work without the crust… I actually make one with ham, cheddar and broccoli…. My binder is a bit different…will give yours a try…without the crust 😉
This looks delicious….how about one with chicken, mushrooms and artichoke hearts?
I can’t wait to make this quiche! Thank you, Mary Katherine!
Good TUESDAY morning: MRS MK
I sent your quiche recipe to the pastors
YAHOO! This morning at GROCERY OUTLET, I remembered to get fast acting yeast, expiration date 2027, it was three packets.
Have a terrific day 🐢
Oh, YUMMY😋 Just what I needed for my extra ham! Thank you😊
This looks so good. Am vegan so will substitute the meat. I love how yours came out, thank you ❤
Looks so yum. Going to the grocery in the morning. Need to get some ham. I will have cinnamon raisin bagels with honey , cream cheese and chopped pecans. Will be having a great breakfast. My husband told me 43 years ago that his breakfast was his best meal of the day. Ill thank you for him.. have a blessed day.
I don't remember the last time a I made a quiche. Time to remedy that! Love how adaptable your recipe is. Thank you 😊
This sounds delicious! I’m just one, so would the leftovers freeze well?
Why did I forget about quiche? I live alone and this is a great idea for an easy meal—with some leftover for tomorrow! Thank you! 😍
All that melted cheese will be delicious 😋 thank you
Thank you for your gentleness
You showed up on my YouTube feed last week and I am enjoying your videos so much. I made your ham and bean soup yesterday and it was delicious. Looking forward to the quiche recipe later in the week. Thanks so much.
Finally, an honest "simple" cooking video. I see so many that say "only (insert ridiculous low number) ingredients" and/or "just five minutes" when in reality it's like 7-10 ingredients and an hour or more to make. (I give them a dislike for dishonesty.)
That aside, I can't remember if I've ever had quiche, but I do like a good ham and cheese omelet, so I may give this a try, especially with an all butter pie crust recipe that I use that my husband loves. Many thanks from one southern girl to another. (Enjoy your well-earned like!)
This looks yummy! Will try your combo. Recently I have not par-baked the crust and it comes out fine! I have been making a sausage (Italian style) with shredded zucchini. I sauté both separately, of course drain any fat from the sausage. Like your pan, can you share what the maker is. I could use a new one. Thanks so much ❤
I love quiche and I've never made it. This recipe looks so easy and delicious. You made it look so easy that I'm going to make it for my family.
Thank you, Mary Katherine! I made this for dinner…AND I used your pie crust. I did add some spinach I had on hand and sweet onion; I didn't have dried. It is so cold here in Idaho, so it was truly delicious for a quick weeknight dinner. 💘
