French Bread Ingredients: -2 tablespoons instant yeast -2 tablespoons granulated sugar -2 cups warm water (100-110 degrees Fahrenheit) -3 tablespoons vegetable oil -2 teaspoons salt -6 cups all purpose flour -1 egg -1 tablespoon water Directions: 1. Add yeast, sugar and 2 cups of warm water to a bowl and whisk to combine. Let sit for 5 minutes, until it is bubbly and frothy. 2. Add in the oil, salt and flour. 3. Mix to combine. 4. At this stage, if you are using a mixer, add a dough hook and knead on medium high for 4-5 minutes. The dough should pull away from the sides of the mixing bowl. If it doesn't, slowly add 1 tablespoon of flour at a time and continue kneading until this happens. It shouldn’t take much. If you are making this without a mixer, use your hands to knead the dough on a lightly floured work surface for 4-5 minutes. 5. Place the dough in the mixing bowl and cover with a warm damp towel. Let it rest for 15 minutes. 6. Punch down the dough and divide into 2 pieces. 7. Shape each of the pieces of dough into a long log, like a baguette. 8. Place each of the pieces of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Optionally, score the dough with a few diagonal slits on the top. 9. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. While the oven preheats, cover the tray with the warm damp towel and let the bread rise a second time. 10. Mix 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of water in a bowl. Brush over the bread loaves. 11. Bake for 23-25 minutes.

Easy Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
-1 packet instant yeast
-1 ½ tsp salt
-3 cups all purpose flour
-1 cup lukewarm water (100 degrees Fahrenheit)
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients in a bowl and stir.
2. Cover with a towel or plastic wrap and let rise for 45 minutes to an hour. 40 minutes into
the rise time, preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit with a cast iron pot or
casserole dish with lid inside the oven.
3. After the rise has finished, take the bread dough out of the bowl and shape it on piece of
parchment paper lined with flour. I folded the edges of the dough in to make a circular
shape.
4. Carefully remove the dish from the oven and place the parchment paper with the bread
in the dish. Put the lid on the dish and put it back in the oven.
5. Bake for 25 minutes.
6. Remove the lid and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
