When i saw this it instantly reminded me of sopas, sopas is a Filipino creamy chicken/pork soup with macaroni in it
bone-in chicken breast/thighs but any will do 5 cups water 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 piece onion, chopped 1/2 cups Elbow Macaroni 1/2 cups small diced carrots 2 pieces chicken bouillon 1 cup small diced cabbage 3/4 cups Evaporated Milk
One more thing we usually put some Filipino hotdogs in it but it's okay if you don't want to put some and you are free to adjust the recipe and the seasonings this is just a basic recipe so feel free to find something else
Yum, this is one of my top favorite soups! It really has that feel and flavor of comfort. Do you have a recipe for that premium chicken stock too? Thanks for sharing, the soup looked mouth watering delicious! 😋
I'm going to incorporate a beer into this recipe. I think a pilsner would work great in this, leaving a light, crisp finish. Using a lager or an ale would give it a malt flavor but also balance it out which I'm not really looking for. A stout like Guinness will leave a deep, roasted, and dark flavor. Yeah I think I'm going to do a pilsner in this.
I tried making this today but it came out a lot runnier than in the video, not sure what I did wrong. I added some corn starch to help thicken it a bit. Still tasted amazing though ❤
Me and my roommate just made this but we added some chipotle peppers that we rehydrated with the chicken broth and it turned into a nice hang over meal 🙂
Have you ever done chicken and dumplings? I saw a community post for this soup and it reminded me of chicken and dumplings. I'm not bad mouthing them either!
Made this for the fam today. This is hands down the best potato soup recipe I've ever had! Only down side is they are now demanding I make this all the time lol. Only alteration I made was adding 1/4 tsp paprika because my fam loves it.
