It’s pretty freezer burned. You can definitely use it but it will be kinda bland. As others have said I would probably make chili with lots of spices.

I’m usually the one to say it’s fine, but that first picture is some really freezer burnt meat. I agree with the commenter who said to chili it. It’ll be safe but definitely want some herbs and spices in there…

Regardless of what this comment section says, I would highly advise against listening to strangers about 9 month old Walmart meat that looks freezer burned to hell. Unless you got real good medical insurance I would just toss it dude.

If it smells ok when you defrost it, it’s safe to eat BUT may taste terrible.
