First time checking this place out. I used to live near Onion Creek and would semi-frequent Valentina's so I kinda sorta knew what to expect.

I ordered the La Valentina on flour (not pictured sry) and the Chanchito on corn (pictured) as well as fries (pictured)

Tacos – both tacos had a similar vibe. Amazingly smoked meat, half-decent salsa, and one-note texture – soft everything, no diversity like crunch and really near-zero spiciness. The meat was amazing though. The flour tortilla was very good and the corn kinda tasted a bit undercooked. (around $10 per taco)

"Fries" – they are all cut to different sizes, and seemingly dropped straight into the fryer without any techniques to remove excess starch. I would say they were steamed more than fried. Limp, sad, baked potato flavor. ($7)

Menu – I tried to order chips and salsa which they didn't have, only chips and queso or guac both of which were $10+ – this was a bit sad considering they are going for a 'Texas bbq meets tex-mex' kinda vibe and chips and salsa is kinda a staple of the tex-mex genre. Also they very clearly have both chips and salsa so why not offer it for purchase?

Vibe – parking is very limited and there didn't really seem to be a place nearby you could park and walk..kinda seems problematic. Very little dining area inside, fairly loud music, and service was ok but not great.

All-in-all – I'd probably stick to ordering the by the lb meat, which was excellent. Spending $7 on those terrible 'fries' is definitely not advised. $10-11 per taco I have mixed feelings about because yes they have generous portions of meat but eh, again, just order the by the lb and then maybe get some tortillas on the side.
