didn't make scrambled eggs! I used half grana padano, half pecorino, and panchetta, not bacon. Noodles not homemade this time.

it's a running joke that I always forget some kind of ingredient, and yesterday was no exception. I had toasted up some peppercorns, and ground them up with my pestle and mortar to top the carbonara, and of course forgot to put it on before serving 🫠

    Well if that’s a first attempt then gz.

    Only thing that could slightly be improved imo is it the sauce looks a bit to thin. To help with that after combining pasta and other ingredients you can put them in a metal bowl and put this on top of the water pot. With the heat from cooking water you’ll cook the sauce a bit but you won’t scramble the eggs.
