    Should have used some pasta watcher for the starch in one of those sauces and I would have defended this as flair food, but at least made will.

    2/3’s of that bowl of pasta is going to be bland as fuck because the sauce doesn’t bind to the noodles.

    Dumb af.

  7. That’s cute actually. Spaghetti in the tradition of Nagashi Somen.

    There’s a way of serving somen noodles rhat involves sending small bundles of them down a bamboo chute with cold water flowing through it. You pick them out with chopsticks and then dip them in sauce.

  26. This is not stupid food. The machine itself is for soumen which is already pasta people have to recollect just like this. The ingredients are normal. At most they changed the usual pasta for spaghetti and the soup for tomato soup, so it may not mix as expected, but the food is normal and the process is already used at similar food.

    The only problem is mixing Japanese style serving dish with an Italian dish. It may make some purist mad, but if you forget about styles then there is little problem.

    I don’t understand the ice bath, why remove starch from the cooked product? If you are worried about overcooking past al dente, stop your cook earlier

  31. Anybody get mildly upset to lowkey mad when you can hear the person or the background noise but the person in the video doesn’t speak? Irrational? Yes, but something about it ticks me off for some reason.
