“Tortellini has been one of my go-to comfort food choices since I was a kid, and I still crave it when I’m sick or the weather is dreary. This cozy baked version is just the ticket for a cold day, and I like to add shredded or chopped chicken for a protein boost.” – Mary Shannon Hodes, Editor

“Say it with me now: Chicken! Pot! Pie! There is nothing that comforts my stomach or my soul like chicken pot pie. I’m not a huge fan of meals that are one uniform thing (like soup or pasta), but the crunch of the piecrust combined with the silky interior and the bite of the meat and veggies make this recipe a hit for me. Plus, it reminds me of my mom, which always makes me feel warm inside.” – Katie Akin, Associate Copy Editor

“Growing up in Memphis we didn’t get many “snow days” but when we did, it was always an excuse for my dad to make his favorite meal. He always says, “this is tomato soup and grilled cheese weather.” So, of course when there is even a hint of a flurry, that’s what I am going to make too.” – Rebecca Baer, Senior News Editor
