This is an ananas noire plant I planted late last Spring. It flowered over the summer but never set or produced; I’m in Houston and summer is hot hot hot so I figured just too much heat for this particular one.
The plant almost died but kept growing so I moved it to the side yard in the fall and kind of forgot about him. It didn’t get any fertilizer or water other than rainwater but kept on growing. I was moving some plants around and indoors today bc of the impending freeze and I’ll be damned if this little guy didn’t have a single fruit on him…..a late festivus miracle 🙂
The seeds were from Territorial Seed so A+ your Oregon seeds somehow finally made
