The Lovers Lane location hosts several Cooking School sessions per week, spanning basic skills, International cuisines, and go-to classics. Sur La Table
This kitchen supply and tabletop decor store at the Preston Royal shopping center also houses a cooking classroom. Both skill-specific and full menu classes are offered weekly, including sessions for solo students, groups, and date nights. Upcoming classes include Intro to Sushi (January 29) and An Evening in Paris (February 6). Prices start at $89.
Eataly Dallas
NorthPark Center’s Italian food emporium also hosts regular hands-on cooking classes featuring popular crowd pleasers and regional specialties. Upcoming classes include Pasta alla Carbonara (January 31), Pizza Napoletana (February 4), and Lasagne alla Bolognese (February 17). Prices start at $112.
Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
Visitors to our city’s 66-acre expanse of gardens and greenscapes, are also invited to experience seasonal cooking classes. Hosted at A Tasteful Place on the Dallas Arboretum campus, the Garden Chef Series includes 30-minute demonstrations and tastings focusing on seasonal vegetables and fruits. Coming up, multiple sessions will be open to Arboretum visitors throughout the weekend of February 20 – 22.
Asian Mint
Asian Mint Founder Nikky Phinyawatana offers cooking classes throughout the year at her flagship Preston Hollow restaurant at Forest Lane and Central Expressway. Classes highlight authentic Thai cuisine including seafood soups, spring rolls, noodle dishes, and a variety of entrees. The venue can also be booked for private group classes and demonstrations. Prices vary.
