This is a soy sauce–based ramen.

The toppings include straight, medium-thin noodles, green onions, chashu pork, pork back fat, and bamboo shoots (menma).

The price is 4.5 dollars, which would be considered inexpensive even by Japanese standards.

It has a pleasant aroma of soy sauce and a well-balanced, moderate saltiness.

The bowl is printed with the type of ramen and the name of the shop.

This is a local ramen shop that has long been loved by the community.

Big description. No names. Par for the course.

That broth looks like it’s been simmered to perfection!

Looks great especially the back fat! By the way, is there any difference between the ramen at Hiroshima compare to other places in Japan? I mean Kyushu is famous for their Tonkotsu Ramen, Hokkaido is famous for their Miso Ramen but I seldom hear the Chugoku region has any noodle specialty aside from adding noodles to Okonomiyaki like in Hiroshima, even Shikoku has Sanuki Udon. I am just curious at how the people in Chugoku prefer their ramen.

    拉面汤是不是非常咸,需要配着米饭吃。

A little more specific than the whole region, but this bowl, and many in Hiroshima echo the Onomichi style. Soy sauce based, a little fishy, and heavily laid with seabura.
